Adlai Waxman’s songs shine with a style that pushes the boundaries of piano pop music. Words like, “genuine, eclectic, witty and sophisticated,” are often used to describe this singer-songwriter’s unique sound. Echoes of his influences surface, especially those to whom he has been compared, namely, Randy Newman, Joe Jackson, Robbie Robertson and Donald Fagen. Yet his vocal style remains distinct, complete with his own modern twist.

Well received within the industry and fans, his songs climbed to number one on the CBC radio New Music Chart. Other venues such as the Mountain Stage New Song Contest and the internet American Idol Underground voted Adlai’s original songs among the top ten from thousands of world-wide entries. Dividing his time between Nashville and Toronto, Adlai earns his keep as a professional musician devoted to the craft of songwriting and performing.
