ABOUT US Marshmellow Records is a Toronto based “boutique” record label with a diverse catalog containing over 20 titles, ranging from jazz to blues, new age to world and relaxation music. As a small independent label, Marshmellow’s mission is to offer an engaging listening experience by releasing albums of passionate musical content and superior recording quality. Our mandate is to present high artistic value and long term listening value. We achieve this by first searching out artists who have something special to say musically. Then we record at Phase One Studios (www.phaseonestudios.com) which is owned by Marshmellow President Barry Lubotta, for the highest quality sound. Phase One has recorded some of the world’s most successful artists, so the ability to record high quality for Marshmellow is in our genes. Marshmellow is currently distributed independently in Canada, and now distributed in the US by Premiere Jazz Distributors who handle the labels most recent releases. Marshmellow will continue to focus on talented artists who we believe in. Our commitment is to bring to market albums that create the passion and excitement of recorded music at it’s finest – and always for lasting pleasure.
